Could the G.O.A.T. be heading to the Grandest Stage of Them All? Seven-time Super Bowl champion and NFL icon Tom Brady may be trading the gridiron for the squared circle—at least for a cameo.

In a recent interview with Fox News, Brady hinted at a possible appearance at WWE WrestleMania 41, which takes place April 19 and 20 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas—home to the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders, the team Brady joined as a minority owner in 2023.

“I may be there,” Brady said. “But it’s amazing what’s going on there, and it’s amazing what’s happening with WWE and all the different things surrounding that.”

A Growing Legacy Between WWE and the NFL

Brady wouldn’t be the first NFL star to cross paths with WWE. The relationship between the two leagues dates back decades, and WrestleMania has long featured prominent appearances from football greats.

Notably:

  • Lawrence Taylor, former New York Giants linebacker and Hall of Famer, headlined WrestleMania XI in 1995, defeating Bam Bam Bigelow in a match that gained major mainstream buzz.
  • Former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski won the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 33 before hosting WrestleMania 36.
  • Pat McAfee, ex-Indianapolis Colts punter, is now a WWE personality and frequent in-ring competitor.
  • Last year in Philadelphia, Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson of the Eagles received a thunderous hometown ovation for their surprise appearance during WrestleMania 40.

While Brady hasn’t stepped foot into a WWE ring—yet—he was humorously “called out” by Chris Jericho in 2017, when the wrestler famously added him to his “List of Jericho.”

WWE’s Biggest Weekend Heads to Vegas

WrestleMania 41 is expected to be a massive spectacle, returning for a two-night format at the state-of-the-art Allegiant Stadium, with a card featuring marquee matchups, celebrity appearances, and possible surprises.

Brady’s involvement remains unofficial—but with his ties to Las Vegas, the Raiders, and his global star power, a cameo would certainly electrify the WWE Universe.
