NBA Playoffs 2025: The Oklahoma City Thunder pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in NBA playoff history, erasing a 29-point deficit to beat the Memphis Grizzlies and seize a commanding 3-0 series lead.

The Thunder were down 67-38 when Ja Morant exited late in the second quarter with a hip injury. Without their star, the Grizzlies couldn’t hold the lead. Chet Holmgren exploded in the second half, scoring 23 of his 24 points, while Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the team with 31.

Jalen Williams chipped in 26, and his free throw with 1:20 remaining gave OKC its first lead of the game.

For Memphis, Scotty Pippen Jr. scored 28 points and Jaren Jackson Jr. had 22, but the absence of Morant proved pivotal. The 29-point comeback ranks as the second-largest in NBA playoff history.

Clippers Crush Nuggets in Historic Intuit Dome Debut

Final Score: Clippers 117, Nuggets 83
Series: Clippers lead 2-1

Backed by a roaring crowd at the brand-new Intuit Dome, the LA Clippers demolished the Denver Nuggets in Game 3 to take control of the series.

Kawhi Leonard posted a 21-point, 11-rebound double-double, while James Harden and Norman Powell each poured in 20. The Clippers’ defense clamped down on Denver early, and the game turned into a blowout long before the final whistle.

Nikola Jokic managed another triple-double (23-13-13), but the supporting cast struggled. Jamal Murray also had 23, but Russell Westbrook, facing his former team, managed just 3 points. Michael Porter Jr. was limited by a shoulder injury and scored only 7.

Game 4 returns to Inglewood on Saturday, where the Clippers can put Denver on the ropes.

Knicks Outlast Pistons in Thriller, Take 2-1 Series Edge

Final Score: Knicks 118, Pistons 116
Series: Knicks lead 2-1

The New York Knicks survived a back-and-forth battle in Detroit to take a 2-1 lead in their Eastern Conference Quarterfinal matchup.

British forward O.G. Anunoby starred for the Pistons with 22 points, two steals, and a block, while Dennis Schroder added 18 off the bench in an inspired effort.

Despite the Pistons’ depth—featuring talent from Germany, Sweden, and Italy—they couldn’t slow down New York’s offense. The Knicks now head into Game 4 with momentum and the chance to create some real separation in the series.

What’s Next?

Game 4s are coming up this weekend in what’s been a dramatic and international-flavored NBA postseason. The Thunder look to complete a sweep, while the Clippers and Knicks aim to stretch their leads. The biggest question? Will Ja Morant return in time to rescue the Grizzlies?
